GLUCOSE MODELING AND CONTROL

Glucose Modeling and Control

The long-term goal of this research is to contribute to the development of an “artificial pancreas.” To this end, we are developing algorithms that, when integrated with continuous glucose monitoring systems, allow for proactive interventions (i.e., adjustment of insulin delivery or intake of glucose) to prevent undesirable hypo- and hyper-glycemic episodes.
